Storing Weed

The humidity must be between 59-64% and generally above 50% is good for storing weed to last longer keeping it in its prime condition but not beyond 75% as it guarantees mold growth. AirComfort – connected temperature and humidity sensor allows you to track both conditions where you keep your cannabis.

If you have a cannabis whether for medical purposes or personal us (so long as its legal), of course, you’d want to store it properly if you want it to last. When it comes to containers to store weed, glass is the best and metal or plastic are a big no-no for long term storage as it affects the aroma and flavor after a while.

Glass containers are airtight and nonporous unlike plastic that tends to have static charge causing trichomes to fall off the buds.

In general, too much air in contact with your weed reduces the quality and too moist environment could end up with mold. Temperature and humidity are two environmental factors that play important roles.

Cannabis must be kept in a cool, dark place but don’t put it inside your fridge because temperature there is too low and could even result to trichomes snapping off. The ideal storage of cannabis is at approximately room temperature range from 60-68 degrees Fahrenheit while 50-68 degrees Fahrenheit is also acceptable.

The humidity must be between 59-64% and generally above 50% is good for storing weed to last longer keeping it in its prime condition but not beyond 75% as it guarantees mold growth.

AirComfort – connected temperature and humidity sensor allows you to track both conditions where you keep your cannabis. It comes with Growers App where you can add multiple sensors if you have multiple storage that you want to track.

Knowing the right conditions and being able to actually see it on your mobile is amazing but to be able to see the present temperature and values while you’re out somewhere not close to your sensor or your weed storage is on another level and that’s what ibebot hub is for!
