What should I do if I am having difficulty adding or connecting sensors? My phone is running Android 12.

Removing your Android device’s cache files may help fix connection issues. You can clear the Bluetooth data cache on the phone or tablet to completely reset Bluetooth.

Before you clear the cache on your Android device, you need to toggle on system apps. To do this on your Android device:

  1. Open Settings, and then tap Apps.

  2. Tap the Sort icon (the down arrow with three vertical bars), then tap Show system apps.

  3. Tap OK and all the system apps will appear in the list.

  4. Tap Bluetooth > Storage > Clear data.

  5. Tap OK to confirm.

Once you’ve toggled on system apps, to clear your cache:

  1. Go to Settings on your Android device.

  2. Select Apps.

  3. Click ⋮ to display your system apps.

  4. Select Bluetooth from the list of apps, then select Storage.

  5. Tap Clear Cache and exit your Settings.

If the steps are a bit different on your particular Android device, you may want to search how to clear the Bluetooth cache for your specific Android device.
